Here in the downtown the old city meets with the new technology, making Bonn a pleasant combination of traditionalism and technology advancements. Typical for Germany, Bonn remains not only the old capital of the FRG, but also a cultural and research oriented city, which still has something to say about the future of Germany.

As in most of the German cities, the river has played an very important role in the economical development of Bonn. Now it remains only a place for navigation and relaxation, still it has not lost yet its magical touch.
